Clearing your crystals

Taking proper care of your crystals ensures they remain powerful tools for healing, meditation, and spiritual growth. Follow these simple steps to keep your crystals in optimal condition, and they will continue to serve you well on your journey.

Herb Smoke, Resin, or Incense

You can clear your crystals with an aromatic smoke such as

Rosemary, Sage or Palo Santo. You may also use resin like frankincense or Copal. It is a traditional and effective way to cleanse your crystals.

Light the herb stick and allow the smoke to envelop your crystals, clearing away any negative energies and restoring their natural vibrancy. Aways use practice fire safely and ventilate the room.

Energy Healing

Channel your own energy or use prayer to cleanse and charge your crystals. Hold the crystal in your hand, close your eyes, and set an intention or prayer for its purification and empowerment. Visualize a bright light surrounding and penetrating the crystal, filling it with pure, positive energy.

Water

Rinsing crystals with water can be a quick and refreshing way to cleanse them. However, not all crystals are safe to be cleaned with water. Avoid using water on crystals like selenite, malachite, and pyrite, as they can dissolve or tarnish.

For water safe crystals, simply hold them under running water or soak them briefly in a bowl of moon charged water.

Moon

The gentle and reflective energy of the moon is perfect for cleansing and charging crystals. Place your crystals under the moonlight, ideally during a full moon, to absorb its nurturing and renewing energy. This method is safe for all types of crystals.

Selenite

Selenite is a unique crystal that can cleanse and charge other crystals. Place your crystals on a selenite slab or tower overnight. Selenite's high vibrational energy will clear away negative energies and recharge your crystals.
